The overhead Ashiatsu bars are used for balance while applying gravity assisted yummy deep tissue compression strokes to the client. Clients love the deep relaxing effleurage strokes. And they cannot tell if you are using your feet or hands. It is structural integration at its best. The therapeutic deep tissue benefits of this massage will last longer than regular deep tissue massage.
It is dedicated to saving the hands of the massage therapist. Clients do not walk out of your office they float out. Your last deep tissue of the day will be as good as your first! Barefoot Masters® was founded by a massage therapist like you. Michelle D. Mace found herself in a quandary. After building a successful massage practice, her hands began to give out under the workload. Until she discovered Ashiatsu. At the time, there were not many providers for Ashiatsu massage. There was no anterior work and there were way too many restrictions placed on the therapists. So she developed a program that removed the restrictions, added the anterior routine to make it complete and wrote the first complete manual with full instructions and pictures to perform Ashiatsu Bar Therapy. This course comes in a live format as well has a home study format.
